Transcribing Audio Files
Do you have endless recorded patient conversations you’d like to archive? Or maybe some dictations that you’d like to keep as written texts?
While you could transcribe them by hand, Atlas.md has a much more elegant solution: Audio Transcripts.
This feature allows you to transform audio files into searchable text-based content with a single click, simplifying the process of finding and editing notes, understanding problems, archiving patient conversations, and much more.
Here’s how to do it:
- When you upload an audio file to a patient’s chart, Atlas.md will automatically transcribe it
- While Atlas.md works on the transcription, feel free to work anywhere else in the EMR – we’ll notify you once the transcript is ready
- Once the transcription is ready, you can view it by clicking Audio Transcript on the audio file it originated from
