Directory of Contacts

The Directory of Contacts in Atlas.md is where you can store all your third party contact information in one easily accessible spot. Your whole team will benefit from having access to lab reps, medical partner facilities, outside vendors, and the guy who washes the office windows.

Where’s the Directory?

You can find the Directory of Contacts right in your profile sidebar, just beneath the Calendar icon. You may filter by contact name, email address, category or physical address.

Adding a New Contact

To add a new contact to the directory, first navigate to the Contacts page. Then click the plus sign in the upper right corner. Fill in as much information you deem necessary, and click “save.”

Deleting a Contact

There are two ways to delete an existing contact. Simply click on the contact’s name from the main Contacts list and then select “Delete.” Alternatively, you may hover over the contact from the main Contacts list and click the trash can icon that appears to the right.

Editing a Contact

To edit a contact in the directory, click the contact from the main list. Edit the information as needed, then click “Save.”

Faxing to Contacts

Your directory of contacts is easily accessible when sending a custom fax. When you go to the patient chart > add content > custom fax, you’ll have the option to choose from the most recent contacts you used for faxing. You can easily save custom fax contacts to the contacts list as well.

Importing and Exporting Contacts

To make transferring information to and from your address book and other contacts apps easier, you can import and export your contacts straight from your Atlas directory using a .CSV file. On the Contacts page, click the gear icon in the upper right corner, and select to import or export your information.
