Refunds
Refund Processing Fee
Equal to the processing fee on the original payment
When a payment is refunded, the original processing fee is not returned.
Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Credit Card Chargeback Fee
$15, plus a refund processing fee equal to the processing fee on the disputed payment
If the dispute is resolved in your clinic’s favor, the $15 chargeback fee is returned. The original payment-processing fee is not returned.
Credit Card Dispute Response Fee
$15 per response
This fee only applies if your clinic submits evidence to challenge a card dispute. If the dispute is resolved in your clinic’s favor, the response fee is returned.
ACH Chargeback Fee
$20, plus a refund processing fee equal to the processing fee on the disputed payment
This fee applies when a patient disputes an ACH payment.
Clinics cannot challenge ACH chargebacks through the dispute process, so there is no ACH dispute response fee.
ACH Failed Transaction Fee
$5 per failed transaction
This fee applies when an attempt to collect a payment from a patient’s bank account is unsuccessful.
ACH Over-Refund Fee
20% of the total amount, with a minimum fee of $20
This fee applies on the rare occasions when an over-refund occurs, usually when your patient requests a chargeback, and you apply a refund in quick succession.
Payouts
Payouts to your clinic’s connected bank account are free.

Faxing
Outbound Fax
$0.07 per page
This fee applies to each page faxed from a patient’s chart.
Shipping
Shipping Label
Set by the carrier.
This fee applies whenever your clinic purchases a shipping label through Atlas.md.
Shipment Insurance
$0.80 for items valued up to $40.
For items valued over $40, shipment insurance costs 2% of the item’s value, with a maximum coverage limit of $5,000.
Carrier fee adjustment
Set by the carrier.
USPS may adjust the cost of a label after it is purchased if it corrects the shipment’s weight, dimensions, package type, zone, delivery area, or address.
Atlas.md will notify your clinic by email when a carrier fee adjustment occurs.

Specialist Consults
Consult Fee
Set by the specialist.
This fee applies when a specialist consult case is resolved. It appears on your clinic’s next Atlas.md invoice and is paid to the specialist.
ePrescribing and PDMP
New eRx Subscription
$475.
This fee applies when a prescriber is set up for ePrescribing.
eRx Subscription Renewal
$400 annually per prescriber.
This fee applies when a prescriber’s eRx subscription renews.
PDMP Setup
$525 per clinic.
This is a one-time fee applied when PDMP is enabled for your clinic.
PDMP Subscription
Usually $60 per doctor.
The exact subscription requirements and cost vary by state.
EPCS Replacement Token
$25 per replacement token.
This fee applies when a hard token needs to be replaced.
