AI Chart Summaries

Atlas.md uses AI to turn your patient’s chart information into a structured summary, helping you review their background, medical history, lab results, existing conditions, prescriptions, and other relevant notes.

You can create, edit, and save a chart summary from the Atlas.md EMR. You can also review an AI-generated overview from the patient’s profile in the mobile app.

Create an AI Chart Summary in the EMR

To create a summary:

1. Open the patient’s chart.
2. Select the AI button in the upper-right corner.
3. Select Summarize Chart History. Atlas.md will analyze the patient’s chart history and generate a summary.

1. Review the summary and edit any information as needed.
2. When you’re happy with the results, either:
   • Save the summary as a note on the patient’s chart.
   • Copy the summary to your clipboard for use elsewhere.

Review an AI Chart Summary in Atlas.md Mobile

Atlas.md Mobile gives you a structured overview of the patient’s available chart information, including the most relevant findings. This can help you quickly understand the broader context of their history without returning to the full EMR.

To review the summary:

1. Open the patient’s Patient Profile in the Atlas.md mobile app.
2. Select the AI Summary tab beside Contact and Medical.

1. Review the summary and its main findings.

When you need an updated overview, select Regenerate AI Summary. The updated summary will remain available from the patient’s AI Summary tab.
