Uploading an Audio File and Interacting With AI
Once you’ve uploaded an audio file, Atlas.md will automatically transcribe it and attach it to the patient’s chart.
There are many different ways of uploading an audio file into Atlas.md, depending on the device and apps you’re using.
Here are a few of the most common ways:
From Your iPhone
Once you’ve used the Voice Memos app to record a conversation, tap the … button > Share > Email.
If you have Dropbox or Google Drive integrated into Atlas.md, you can easily send the file there. Otherwise, you can email it to your Atlas account using your @atlas.md email address.
After a few seconds, the audio file will show up in your Files Inbox, and you can then assign it to a patient’s chart.
From Your Mac
Once you’ve used the Voice Memos app to record a conversation, drag and drop the file to your desktop, then upload it to Atlas.md by:
- Heading to the patient’s chart
- Clicking the plus icon in the upper right corner
- Selecting Attachments
- Then drag the file you just recorded onto the modal
- Once you’re happy with your selection, click Add Note
If you already have the Attachment modal open, you can simply drag and drop the file from the Voice Memos app.
You can also add the file as an attachment in an email, and send it to your Files Inbox.
From Your Windows PC
Once you’ve used the Voice Recorder app to record a conversation, right-click on the file, then select Open File Location.
From here, drag and drop the file into the Attachments modal of the patient’s chart as outlined above.
You can also add the file as an attachment in an email, and send it to your Files Inbox.
