Uploading an Audio File and Assigning It to a Patient

To send audio files into Atlas.md and assign them to a patient:

  • Head to the patient’s chart
  • Click the plus icon in the upper right corner
  • Select Attachment
  • Click, Attach Files and then select the audio file you’d like to upload
  • Optionally, include a note to go along with the audio file
  • Once you’re happy with your selection, click Add Note and the audio file will be uploaded to your patient’s chart ready to be played right from your browser

You can also send audio files to your Files Inbox – just make sure you’ve set it up first.

Once it’s set up:

  • Record a voice memo or select an audio file and send it to your Dropbox, Google Drive, or email address associated with your Files Inbox
  • In Atlas.md, select the profile menu from the top navigation, head to File Inbox, then click on the audio file you just sent
  • Here you can listen to the audio file, and you’ll also find options to Assign to PatientDownload or Delete
  • Assign it to your patient and optionally add a note before confirming your selection
  • Once you’ve assigned the audio file, you’ll find it on your patient’s chart
