Sending Email Attachments to Patients and Third Parties allows you to easily send email attachments to patients as well as
third parties such as lab providers or specialists.

To do this:

  • Head to the patient’s chart
  • Hover over the attachment you’d like to send, then click the email icon to the right of the screen
  • The recipient will default to the current patient, but if you’d like to send the attachment to someone else, click Change Recipient
  • If the recipient is already in your contact’s list, start typing their email address and’s autocompleter will bring up a list of options to choose from. Otherwise, simply enter the recipient’s email address.
  • Next, enter the subject and message of the email, and choose if you’d like to schedule the delivery of it
  • Once you’re happy with your selection, click Send
  • A record of the email and the attachment will then be stored on your patient’s chart
