Why Am I Being Asked to Verify My Business Information?
Did you receive a notification in Atlas asking you to confirm some business or personal information? Don’t worry – it’s just Atlas doing its job of making sure all ducks are in a row so you can receive monetary payouts as quickly, safely, and efficiently as possible.
You’re receiving the notice because your account has been migrated to Stripe Connect, which will allow for faster and safer payouts to your bank account. Stripe and the underlying banking system may request you to re-enter your business and some personal information for the person who’s legally responsible for your business in order to comply with industry standards, which is again the reason for the notification.
While payouts should continue normally, we encourage you to get your business details verified as soon as possible to avoid delays or any other problems. As a good rule of thumb, we recommend entering as much as you can in the business details form as a way of increasing the likelihood of the account getting verified.
