How Can I Upload Lab Results?

If you’re using Quest, LabCorp, or ELLKAY for your lab reports, the results are automatically uploaded to the patient’s chart and you’ll be notified via email when they arrive.

However, if you’re not using Quest, LabCorp, or ELLKAY, you can manually upload files from the lab company of your choice.

When the lab provider sends you the results, you can not only upload the PDF to the patient’s chart but also mark the document as a lab result.

Here’s how to do it:

• From your patient’s chart, click the plus sign in the upper right corner
• Next, select the Labs icon, then Custom lab
• Choose the lab type, add a description, and then attach the lab results file
• At this point, you can also add a follow-up reminder by checking the appropriate box
• Once you’re happy with your selection, click Add Lab
• Your lab result will now appear on your patient’s chart, and you’ll be able to interact with it by heading to the Labs sidebar menu to the left of the screen
