When you dispense or prescribe a medication, Atlas.md uses the medication that will expire the soonest.
For this reason, it’s important to enter the correct expiration date correctly when adding new medication to your inventory.
Using the oldest medications first will prevent them from expiring while still in your inventory, consequently preventing you from dispensing or prescribing expired medications accidentally.
