Managing Community Macros

Community macros allow you to share pre-existing macros with other members of the Atlas.md community.

Here’s how to do it:

  • Navigate to the Macros page (Account > Macros)
  • Select the macro you’d like to share
  • On the pop-up, click Share with the Atlas.md Community
  • Select a title and description for the macro (how other community members will see it)
  • You also have the opportunity to categorize it, sub-categorize it, as well as choose to post it anonymously by checking the box that says “Keep my name private”
  • Once you’re happy with your selection, click Share Content, and the macro will now be listed on the community macro page

Adding a Community Macro to Your Account

You can add a community macro to your account from the community macros page.

You can access this page by heading to the macros page, then clicking Community Macros in the upper right corner.

Next, select the macro that you would like to add to your account. On this pop-up, you have the option to rename the macro and give it a new description.

Once you’re happy with the selection, click Add Macro.

The macro will now be added to your account and be visible on the community macros page, and you’ll be able to use it immediately in your notes.

Removing a Community Macro

If you’d like to remove a community macro for whatever reason, here’s how to do it:

  • Head to the community macros page
  • Selecting the macro in question
  • Click Unshare from the Atlas.md Community
