Can I Email a Lab Order to a Patient?

For instances when your patient prefers a copy of their Quest lab order, you can email it to them right from the labs page. This way they’ll have a digital copy, or they can print it themselves to take directly to the labs facility.

To send a lab order to a patient, click the “Email Lab Order” button in the upper right corner of the labs page. Enter the patient’s email address, and click “Send Email.”

The Results are In!

When the results come in, you can also email them directly to your patients in addition to downloading them for yourself. The fact that you sent the results to the patients will display in the form of a reply to the result entry in the main stream so you know exactly what was sent and when.
