The Workshop
The Workshop is a space designed to let Atlas.md developers and users experiment more easily with new ideas, engage the community for feedback, and ultimately ship better features together. It’s about being more dynamic, learning as we go, and creating tools that work in the real world.
Whether it’s testing new workflows, experimenting with AI-powered tools, or exploring fresh ideas, the Workshop gives us the flexibility to innovate and improve quickly—together with you, our users.
How to Identify Workshop Features
Workshop features are easy to spot. They’ll be:
- Clearly labeled with a “Workshop” tag so you know these are experimental tools.
- Sporting a unique color scheme that sets them apart from the rest of the platform.
Keep in mind that these are experimental; Workshop features might undergo frequent updates, evolve, or even be removed based on what we learn.
What to Expect from Workshop Features
Since these features are experimental, they won’t be fully polished at first. Here’s what you can expect:
- Frequent updates: Because we’re learning and adjusting as we go, you can expect regular changes and improvements.
- Flexible results: Some Workshop features may become permanent, others might be reworked, and some could be discontinued. The goal is to learn and improve quickly.
Workshop vs. Beta Features
It’s important to understand the distinction between Workshop and beta features:
- Beta Features: These are closer to being finalized and are generally more stable. They may still have a few bugs, but they are more polished than Workshop features.
- Workshop Features: These are experimental. While they could be related to features that already exist or brand-new ideas, they may undergo frequent changes or even be removed depending on what we learn during the testing phase.
Existing tools may sometimes be moved into the Workshop as we explore new functionality, or we may build entirely new tools for testing.
How to Share Feedback
Your feedback is a key part of making the Workshop successful. Here’s how you can help:
- Built-in feedback options: Each Workshop feature includes an easy way to submit feedback directly in the app.
- Open-ended suggestions: Whether you encounter an issue or have an idea for improvement, we want to hear from you. Your input helps shape the future of these tools.
Where to Get Help
Since Workshop features are still in development, support will be limited. However, there are ways to get help:
- *Use the built-in feedback tools: *For questions or issues related to a specific feature, use the feedback options provided.
- Reach out to support: If you need any additional help, contact our support team at support@atlas.md.
Join Us in the Workshop
The Workshop is a chance for all of us to shape the future of Atlas.md together. Whether it’s a new workflow, an AI-powered tool, or something entirely different, having the option to test these experimental features allows us to explore new possibilities without the usual constraints.
Have an idea for the Workshop? Let’s get it workshopped! While many of our first experiments may be AI-focused, that’s not a limitation—any idea is welcome, and any feature can become part of the Workshop and potentially a permanent part of Atlas.md.
